The kidneys of her did not heal after she developed a septic infection and was diagnosed with multiple organ malfunctions. Her condition forced her to alter her life around hemodialysis, and later on the peritoneal dialysate. For the eighteen days she was in the hospital, her life was changed completely. After a year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready for the biggest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. The donor kidney would come from none other than her mom. Angelica Hale had a successful kidney transplant together with her mother on 13th of September, 2013. The operation was carried out at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale is pursuing her celebrity dreams from the moment she was born.
