Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha is better recognized by her stage and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. Her popularity grew due to her appearance in the BBC Science Fiction TV show Doctor Who. Gugu had a massive success in the series as Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. People loved her joyous spontaneity and there was no stopping Gugu after a successful career as an actor! Chelsea Joy Handler, born 25 February 1975 at Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. She was one of the six smallest children. Handler's parents were both homeowners. Her father was an used car seller. Her mother was born in Germany and immigrated into the United States as a young woman in 1958. The cancer of the breast was first discovered in 1989. Her death came a decade following her battle with cancer. Handler was brought up in Reform Judaism by her father, who was Jewish. Handler was raised in a wonderful area with a great family. Her move to Los Angeles when she was 19 years old, in order to pursue a career in acting. Handler was forced to become an actress in order to survive. Handler took the decision to concentrate on stand-up after she turned 21 after she realized the power of storytelling. Handler's stand-up career began when she was part of an all-female Oxygen television cast on the reality show with a hidden camera and practical humor series Girls Behaving Unstably. The reality series was on from 2002 to 2005. Handler began appearing on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a while as a correspondent. Handler had her biggest break in 2006 when she became the host of E! called The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler followed this up by performing in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour, in the United States. Stand-up comedy performances from Handler were telecast on VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as HBO. In 2010 she hosted the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. Roseanne is the only woman ever to host a VMA.
